Most of the hinged aluminium doors, windows and gates in Malta and Gozo, have been made out of NC 40  aluminium profiles. This was during a major part, of the second half of last century. When the above mentioned systems were not only popular, but almost the only ones in use. As a result of this, the NC 40 hinge continues to be an important accessory, for the maintenance of many aluminium apertures, up to this very day.
